Nice Warm Sunday afternoon

With temps close to 60 degrees, it was a good day to walk the dogs on the driveway. Brook's getting her first leash training also. She's doing well adjusting to the lead. She's entered in a "B" match in three or four weeks, so she'll get some ring experience

earlier than we had expected.

I should have more pictures of the new puppy soon as the weather gets better. It's all I can do just to keep up with my outside chores, working during small breaks in the weather. Here's one pic though back when we had snow on the ground. Brook's growing like a weed. More to come... I'm sure.

First nice warm day of 2010

Have not blogged in a while....

I've been cabin bound due to snow, taking some time off from work, and also we've both been fighting severe colds. Anyway, we got up Sunday to sun and 70 degree weather. Who knew ??? So, we packed up a couple dogs and headed up to the lake. The sun didn't stay out long and it clouded up, turned cooler, and started to rain.

Guess you have to take what you can get and enjoy at least part of it. The dogs loved the lake.

Home Alone this Weekend

Well I'll be home alone this weekend and left up to my own devices. Laura will be

flying to Nebraska early Saturday morning to pick up our new puppy. Her name is Brooklyn.

We're not going to any dog shows during the month of February. We'll start up in March again full force however. It will be May before we can start showing the new pup.
