Nick's new family. Laura commented that she could not remember anyone so excited about getting a new puppy than Nick's new "parents".

Mack and Rita drove over 5 hours from Indiana to pick him up. We were as thrilled as they were also because we knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that he could not have gone to a finer home or finer owners. He's already well on his way to being completly spoiled and we're sure Mack and Rita will take excellent care of Nick.

And then there was one......

Misty went to a show home in McEwen Tennessee. She will live with some very good friends of ours and we will get to see her at the shows since our friends go to the same dogshows that we do. We decided to keep MiMi and show her ourselves. Both will be old enough to start going and competing in the dog shows sometime in June.


Since Nick was mismarked and we knew we were going to have to place him in a pet home we were stressing a bunch with the process of trying to find him a good forever home. He's such a nice and friendly puppy that we wanted to make certain that he went somewhere very nice. We were contacted last week through a mutual friend by a couple in Indiana that seemed absolutely perfect for Nick's new home. After a few phone calls and several emails, we agreed to meet this weekend. We were absolutely thrilled at the prospect for Nick's new home.

On March 19th we lost one of our elder statesmen "Cody". He was 11. We'll miss you buddy.......

Nick is 12 weeks old now. Running around in the fenced in yard enjoying the 70 degree weather that we've had lately. And sunshine to boot.

I turned Misty loose in the yard for some pictures thinking that she'd be easy to catch afterwards. Boy was I wrong. The doctor told me I needed 30 minutes of cardio exercise daily and Misty sure accomodated that. I like to have never caught her.

Casper returns from temporary retirement

The Bellville IL and Nashville TN shows marked Casper's return from retirement after almost a year off. It took a little bit to knock off the rust and a little pudge that he's put on during the off season. He shows again in a couple weeks also.

Cruiser shows at the Bellville IL dog show and also the show in Nashville. He's been facing some stiff competition lately and is currently experiencing somewhat of a slump in the winnings department. Win or lose he still loves to show and enjoys the road trip.
